North American Festivals Announced
Raul will be performing at a bunch of legendary North American festivals this summer including the Telluride Jazz Celebration, The Kennedy Center's VSA Arts Festival and The Vancouver International Jazz Festival among many others.

The late Arif Mardin's latest reviewed in Rolling Stone
Arif Mardin was a great friend and confident of Raul's. The legendary producer, who's credits include Raul's State of Mind, has a new record. All My Friends Are Here was compiled and produced by his son Joe Mardin. The record received a great review in the latest issue of Rolling Stone and can be heard at RollingStone.com!

Raul Midon on NPR and Synthesis out in the U.S. 4/13
Raul spent a few hours today in Washington DC discussing his new record Synthesis with Tell Me More host, Michel Martin. Raul also recorded a few tunes in the studio that wil air along with the full piece. The segment will air on Tell Me More tomorrow on your local NPR affiliate. Check local listings for times.
Synthesis hits stores and on-line outlets April 13 in the US!

Raul joins "The Music of the Who" tribute
Raul will perform at Carnegie Hall on March 2, 2010 for "The Music of The Who" along side an all-star cast including Living Colour, Bobby McFerrin, Betty LaVette and more.
All the artists will be performing a song from The Who's catalog. 100% of the net proceeds from the event will benefit music related charities.

The holidays give us all a chance to slow down and spend time with the ones we love. I've made it a rule never to work on Christmas or New Years because I really believe that these are times for meditation and gratitude and so I reach out to all of you from the inside to say have a transcendent and creative 2010.
